Stroll in the Manor for Juniors…Match Report Week 4

Bromley Juniors continued their impressive march towards promotion after seeing off AC Manor 2-0. The game started off brightly with Bromley dominating proceedings which resulted in an early goal scored by none other than new signing Pedro Javier Dominguez. Bromley created a lot of chances and the score somewhat flattered AC Manor as the scoreline should have at least hit double figures.

The gaffer decided to play a new formation as Skipper Ansar was injured by team-Mate Riaz-‘Baboon’-Uddin the night before after an appalling tackle during a game of goals, rumour has it that Babz wanted to secure his place in defence from one-time legend Ansar Miah and that the attack was pre-meditated but yet no evidence has been found to prove this.

Bromley saw off the game in the second half with an exquisite finish on the half volley by Bow Rd destroying any chances of a comeback. It was another strong performance by Bromley who welcomed back Michael Cepillo after a lengthy absence due to international duty.

The Referee did his best to stop the flow of the game, some say he was unfit to officiate the game and blew the whistle at every given chance just to keep up with the tempo. His decisions to award 7 foul throws cumatively that were taken quickly was a prime example of this. Questions also needs to be asked if his palms were greased with rumours of Bet-in- Play in progress.

Bromley FC 2 – 0 Shadwell Youth –

Premier League

After the first few games failed to live up to expectations in the Premier Division of the BFA Summer League 2011, the smiles appeared to return to Bromley by Bow faces after an up beat team beat Shadwell Youth 2-0. Goals from Bahar Ali and an unamed Ex Bundesliga Player, who we cannot name for legal reasons as his Indefinite leave to remain in Bromley By Bow and the UK is still pending. The bright and lively performance from the team was in stark contrast to the downbeat displays of the performances we have been seeing in at the start of the season.

The two goals were enough to see off the Shadwell Youth Side but the manner of the win, highlighted by delightful passing and that old Bromley joy in evidence again, displayed a clear change of mood within the team. Shadwell didn’t have many chance but the ones they did have were well defended by Imrul and Imran. The midfield dominated the game with Dipon and Sid taking charge and pinging the ball around the field.

Press Officer, Ex-Britain Got’s Talent Applicant & Super-Injuction Lawyer, Akbor Islam commented “This was a step forward in terms of our ideas and vision and there will be more. The way we set up avoided the risk of a lack of chemistry, I thought that the way that we performed reflected our style and our philosophy. It was not so much about the practice that we did but about the talent of the players. The tactics and the positional set-up certainly helped and at the moment that is the role of the coach to help these players to show their talent. That is the philosophy we follow from now on..we booka bookad Shadwell Youth !

Ex Bromley By Bow Resident & Body Toning Specialist, Soil Miah Commented..”With the respect that I have for professionals in different eras, those moments definitely serve as reference to remember what we did and when did they came… what we are capable of and what we can do again”.

BOW FC vs Bernado FC – ABANDONED

The game was interupted by an offensive stance at the BOW FC players by Bernado FC in the 2nd half by the fans and players from Bernado. BOW FC are in a great position for promotion and they trust BFA in making the right decision in not tolerating that behaviour in its League.
