Bromley Juniors secured yet another 3 points as there push for promotion continues, ex SYA Striker, new recruit & debutant Mamunur Junior managed to net the only goal of the game after a good passage of passes starting from defence.
The game started in normal Bromley fashion as yet again they struggled to field 11 players, luckily veterans Ansar and Salam were on call both coming in from semi-retirement to make up the numbers.
After a slow start Bromley started to get into their usual rhythm and get a foothold on the game, with skipper Mamunur Meaty Chowdhury leading the line from the back there was only one expected outcome. Bromley managed to keep a second consecutive clean sheet with their makeshift defence, star Striker Kashim filled in at right back and brought a tear to the eyes of many watching from the sidelines with his strong tackles, which all time legend Chopper Harris would have been proud of.
For another week Bromley Juniors finished the game with 10 men as 2 time Young African Player of the year Prince the Beast Odusemi limped off nursing an ankle injury.
While the Premiership Side Bromley FC drew 0-0 with Stepney FC, the game had no creativity and the lacklustre performance leaves them floating near the bottom of the table after 2 games. Manager Shof’ Commented ” There was no movement from the players and we were 2nd to everyball, I think the tumbleweed covered more ground on the pitch the the players”.
While Bow FC top the table with 2 wins in a row by beating East End FC 3-1 and St Katherine FC 4-0 as they show great footballing ability as a newly formed team who are pushing for promotion already.
